Teaching Exchange
A polycentric model of exchanging and sharing knowledge stands at the core of the capacity building intended by the twining. We believe that knowledge exchange and learning is best achieved through learning-by doing. This is where the most profound tacit-explicit interaction happens. The continuous exchange pentagon is a vivid web-like exchange within the consortium, happening among all partners, through: i) continuous remote co-working; ii) online events for capacity building on how to: prepare a research agenda, identify expertise for research management, engage in research programs and ensure related financing, negotiate contracts and partnerships, prepare policy papers stemming from research, and advocate the use of evidence in decision-making; iii) short-term onsite expert-visits for co-working on specific capacity building, joint proposals writing, joint research and publications, and in establishing the new research management units.
