Handbook on JUST GREEN TRANSITIONS

Part of the research results of GreenFORCE will be published as a collection of chapters organized in a handbook on Just Green Transitions. The handbook aims to contribute to the policy and academic debate by exploring the multi-dimensional aspects of just green transitional in circularity, sustainable development, spatial planning, territorial governance, regional economy, human geography, spatial and social justice.

The progress for the handbook is evident in the past period, as its structure is detailed and will include contributions from other international authors beyond GreenFORCE. The handbook will be structured as follows:

  • Part I: Theorizing just green transitions.
  • Part II: Exploring key just green transition policy themes.
  • Part III: Just green transitions in the Western Balkans.
  • Part IV: Just green transitions practices from around Europe.
  • Part V: Future Directions for just green transitions

The handbook will have 27 chapters, written by more than 60 international authors coming from the European Union countries, as well as from the Western Balkans. The handbook proposal is under peer-review from Palgrave Macmillan publisher and is being managed by the editorial team: Erblin Berisha, John Moodie, Ledio Allkja and Marija Jeftic.
